FUN Friday!

Once again it is Friday again!

I'm sorry I don't have any pictures to share from my trip to Colorado, as the camera they are in a different camera. I will share soon! All I can say is that Colorado is just the most GORGEOUS place in the US! You will understand when I do share the pictures.




So today this is just the cutest little Advent Calendar box that I found (making memories) I had to get it for little Miss Erica (my sweet God Daughter) and she just LOVES it! I placed candy in each box and she's just so cute! She knows that the Advent calendar is to count down til the birth of our dear Lord Jesus already (she's only 2), but she will eat the candy and then with a BIG smile say Jesus!! Toooooo CUTE!

I will have more projects to share tomorrow.

Settling in Sunday!

Yep after a loooooooong drive there and home we are back from Colorado! We had a wonderful time with Tyler and he showed us why he LOVES being there, it's GORGEOUS! I was also able to touch base with a long lost friend and a cousin and his wife whom I haven't seen in a while. All in all it was just a PERFECT way to celebrate Thanksgiving!

Here is something I worked on while driving. I hope you enJOY it as much as I had making it! Just remember to make time to enJOY the season!

Thrilling Tuesday!

Yep as I have been packing my vehicle so we can jump in and leave as soon as DH & DD get home from work & school. (Funny how they both get off at 3:00 PM) DS is sooooooo EXCITED for us to arrive! He's got things all planned out for us, we just need to arrive. lol

I would like to wish you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING now, as I will most likely not have access to the computer on my travels. Any of you that are traveling please stay safe and have FUN!




Yep another project that I have been working on for the last few days. Made a bunch of them and had FUN doing it!! HO - HO - HO! Santa will be here before we know. Hope you are being good, remember he can see you! This is a skinny tin and it holds six cards w/envelopes. The belly band matches the card. I think that is what made this project so much FUN to make!

Please remember something that you have to be thankful for, after all I think that is truly what Thanksgiving is all about! I am THANKFUL for my WONDERFUL family and friends!!!

Marvelous Monday!

Yep it's nice to start my week out knowing that it's MARVELOUS! It's a short work week for my DH & most of my friends!!! We will be leaving Tuesday to head out and visit our #2 son - Tyler. He moved out to Colorado Springs for a job last August and we have MISSED HIM! I think he's excited for us to come and visit him too. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to meet up with a dear friend whom, I have not seen in YEARS while I'm out there.

Today I'm sharing a card idea that I came up with, when my friend Lana shared a card with me. I have used this card idea many times, but the idea I came up with this time just made me Jump Up and Down!! That's how excited I was! If any of you know the Christmas M & M poem. It's always so hard to figure out how to bag some of those yummy candies up without eating a ton of them myself first. So this was the PERFECT adaption to it! I hope you ENJOY it!



Don't worry I will be working on some projects while I travel, so that I will have things to share with you when I return!

Fabulous FRIDAY!!!

It's actually a very GORGEOUS Friday up north today!! I was able to enjoy my "Muffy" walk and even finished up all the outside fall yard work. Trimming back those flowers and shrubs. The stuff you don't really want to do, cause it just reminds you that soon the yard will be covered with that white stuff and the wind will be blowing pretty darn hard.


I've got some goodie packages with Peppermint Pattys to share with you today. My friend Cami - http://cambriaturnbow.blogspot.com taught me oh I don't even remember how long ago
LOL) how to make them. They are a FUN project for any time and any age!
