Lazy Sunday!

It's a perfect day to be lazy!!

The sky is gloomy and cloudy. The rain is there and then it's not. Just one of the days where it's not sure what it's gonna do.

So after a busy - busy Saturday, I'm hoping to get lots of stampin done today!!!

Yesterday was such a TREAT!! I got to spend the day with a good friend!!! It's been waaaaay too long since we have been able to hang out! Where does all our time go? I'm not sure either! It was just nice to see Lore's smiling face all day long!

I'm sharing with you today one of the journals that I came up with. How many times do we want to write down our thoughts and inspiration? We usually don't, but now we may! I figured that I needed to put my good rubi to work again! It's been sitting on the shelf for a bit now and needed a good work out. At least I thought it did. My sweet friend Joy sent me a bunch of coils a while back and I had to put them to good use! This is what I came up with. I'm happy with it and other's have been too.

FUN Friday!

Yep!

I've been outside enjoying a GORGEOUS day! Now I'm getting ready to finish up a few things inside and then it's our Friday with the neighbors and we are heading to Duluth and going out to a movie and dinner. FUN - FUN - FUN!!! We are going to see Night at the Museum. Really like the first one and have heard really good things about this one. I will report back tomorrow!

Aren't these little journals toooo CUTE! I made a bunch up for my little spot at Sweet Peas. They have been selling fast! I thought how many times do you go some place and then wish you had a little notebook to take notes on all those memories you are making?! Here it is! I am thinking that the shoppers are thinking this way too, as I have sold a bunch!

Special Birthday wishes!

Today's a SUPER SPECIAL person's birthday! My dear Sweet friend Joy! She's more then just a special friend, she's one of my SHISTAHS!!!

Today is her day and she's off to one of her FAVORITE places in the world! Sweetie have TONS of FUN at Disney Land!!!!! What a place to celebrate a birthday!

Wild Wednesday

Lots of running today. Keeps me busy, but some times I feel like it makes me a bit crazy!!

Isn't this GIANT paperclip just adorable?? I LOVE how cute it turned out! Perfect for some little child's picture! Wishin' I would have bought more of those GIANT paperclips when they had them for a buck at Craft's Direct!!

Happy 25th Anniversary!

That's what my dear Hubby and I are celebrating today! Yep our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Who would have ever thought 25 years ago that this is where we would be today? Living up north, four kids and enjoying our lives! I have to say it has been GOOD! Of course their are the what if times, but many more happy times to remember. I think that is what is so important, that we remember the good and put the unhappy times in the past. After all, if we keep dwelling on them, we will never be happy.

We are celebrating by going out to dinner and a movie tonight. It's so nice to not need a babysitter any longer!! We can make the plans when we want and go.

The card today is my Anniversary card to him. I really like this saying for Anniversary cards.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

Please take a moment to think of our Military people! I am working on some more cards to send to them. It's the least that I can do for what they are doing for us. My son is in the MN Army Reserves, but thinking about going Active Duty, as he has not been able to find a job. I keep praying that he will find a job soon. At the same time I know that they have trained him well. So that is what I am asking from my friends this Memorial Day!

Also if you pass one of our Military, in uniform or not. Please stop and THANK them for what they do/or have done for us. Salute the flag with them.

Today's share is what I have been working on the last couple days. I had a request for some "Graduation" cards for Sweet Peas. I used both the schools colors. We have two different High Schools up along the north shore.

Where'd the week go again???

Gol the weeks just seem to be flying right by, way too fast!! Before we know it I will be posting about the leaves turning beautiful colors again.

I've recovered from my bear scare of yesterday. I will even venture out in the garden again today. More plants to get in. Slept like a baby last night, as it rained and that pitter - patter just puts ya right to sleep. The deer are out grazing on the green grass. I think they are enjoying the warm up in temp too.

Today is a project that I worked on the other day. I'm so far behind on cards again! How does that happen??? So even though the wishes will be late, they will know that I was thinking of them.

Wild Wednesday again!

Yep lots to do! I think the most shocking thing that happened to day was that while I was out in the garden uncovering the strawberry plants, a little bear cub came on over and was leaning again the garden fencing. Good thing I had put Muffy inside the fencing with me. That cute little bear cub would have snatched Muffy up and been gone really fast!

I had so much FUN making this tin! I used cardstock from Graphic 45. I'm in LOVE with it!! It's a perfect cardstock to work with!!

I will have some cards to share again soon. I started working on more, as they are running out of cards down at Sweet Peas.

SATURDAY!

Afternoon!

It's Saturday! No sun, but lots of wind out there. OMG It feels like you could get blowin' across the state in no time if you walk out there. I guess that's why I'm staying inside and STAMPIN'!!!

I had so much fun decorating these adorable little wooden paperclips. These were another item I picked up way back when. Of course I had good plans for them, they got put away and in my purging stage here I dug them out and played with them. I painted them and then found some AWESOME cardstock (Basic Grey, which I purchased from http://www.eclecticpaperie.com where they have some AWESOME deals on cardstock!! Joy & Daisy call them the Paper Bundles. You will be receive 25 sheets of patterned paper from various Basic Grey paper collections.) I LOVE to order these bundles from them. It's like Christmas when I open the package and get to see all the GREAT selection!

Let the weekend begin!

Yep it's Friday and in my book, that means the weekend is here!!

No big plans going on up north this weekend, but some rest and relaxation!! Much needed!

This frame is one that I had in my collection - yep my collection, just another. Don't remember why I purchased this one, but I just knew I would need it. I did!! I am really happy with how it turned out!! I used some of that cardstock that was part of this year's SAB from SU for the background. I then took a piece of thin vanilla cardstock and placed it under the two square pieces of chocolate chip cardstock. I thought that this will not only accented the pictures, but offer a place for any journaling one would like to do.

Where did the week go?

Hello!

I'm back from camp, but it takes me a bit to get my barrings back in place.

I had sooo much FUN!! It was GREAT to see my old friends and of course be able to make new ones!

I'm just trying to figure out how time can seem to go by so fast when we don't want it to and then seem like it doesn't move when we are in need of it to go faster. If anyone figures that out, please make sure to let me know.

I worked on a few projects this week. Here and there, when time permits me to.

Today's share is one of the projects that I made a few of for my little spot at Sweet Peas.

Sunny Saturdayw

The sun is OUT!! I'm getting ready to head off to a week of camp, so I will not be here next week. It's an adult MS Camp and this will be the second year I have joined in the FUN! I had soooo much FUN last year and made a bunch of SWEET new friends, whom I can hardly wait to see again!!

I'm sharing a bit of sunshine with you today in my post. I bought these adorable little plastic pots like forever ago and forgot what I was going to do with them. So in the purging I found them and figured that spring time would be a good time to use them up. So I took some of my background papers and lined them (they come apart and there is a space in between two pieces of plastic to put the liner sheets). I then included a packet of flower seeds with them and I think they turned out sooooo CUTE!!
