Yep it's Tuesday!

I guess that maybe old man winter didn't want us to forget him! Yep it's snowing and blowing like crazy up north again. I am so SICK of winter! You would think he would know that by now. I keep telling him that! Keeping my fingers crossed that not only will this be the last of the snow for the year, but that the weatherman is off on his prediction!! He said any where from 12 to 14 inches
- - - - - -Like we haven't had enough already this winter?!!! Schools closed early , which I was surprised they even had them open. They have closed the schools in better weather then todays. Guess I'm not the one who has to make that decision, so it they closed early. It's snowed soooo much, that even Muffy didn't want to go out and get through the snow banks to go potty. She of course did, but she didn't waste any time!

Today I worked on a little something to put in my niece's and nephew's Easter treat bags.

Hoping for winter to really leave this time round!

Still no sunshine

We still have yet to see the sunshine this week. The smiles are gone from most, but they just need to realize that it will return! At least it's warm out there, the ice is gone and the snow is melting! Though it is raining. The winds aren't too bad right now either. Today's post is a card to go with my birthday gift. I made a decision the other night when I was going through all the cardstock that I have horded! OMW I could not believe how much I have and to think I just keep collecting it! Never know when I might finally use some of the stuff that I have for that super special project. Yeah right! So I'm doing more using of my cardstock and less stamping I guess. But I still did stamp!

I will be MIA for a few days, as I have a friend coming up to visit me from Big Lake. My BFF!!! I'm so EXCITED that she is finally able to run away from her family and spend some time with me! I did promise I would give her back. Maybe she will get stuck up north here with me in a GIANT snow storm. I have missed spending time with her!

What a MONDAY!

Good Morning!

Yep can you believe this is what we woke up to, up north? OMW! DD had a late start for school and the roads were still slick when she left. Good thing she texted me that she made it safe and sound. In conditions like that, the few miles she drives anything could happen. Though I have to admit that the trees really do look pretty! They kind of sparkle now.

My share for today is a gift that I worked on this weekend and will be shipping to someone very special. Her birthday is coming up quickly and I figured I best get things going. I will fill it with some treats, as money is tight for everyone right now, but I didn't want her to think I forgot about her!! She is just too special!

I took a clear paint bucket, which I purchased from: www.eclecticpaperie.com and then added some scrapbook paper which I also purchased from EP. Both were from My Mind's Eye. I have to say that I am in LOVE with the scrapbook paper from My Mind's Eye!! One of my many favorites, I know. But they are at the very top of my choices.

So as you can see from my picture of what's outside up north, I will be staying inside and playing. I also need to get back to work on cleaning and purging my crafting things.

The weekend is almost gone?

Can you believe that?! This morning we shared brunch with our wonderful neighbors and then I needed to take a nap. I was pooped and am not sure exactly what made me so tired.

I'm sharing a card that I did up yesterday, as I found that I was in need of a few Sympathy cards. Those are the hardest cards for me to make, but I always want to make sure to get them out to the friends who have gone through a loss. It's so important that they know people are really thinking of them! So that is how I came to my post today.

I'm hoping tomorrow will bring some sunshine (keeping my fingers crossed!) and FUN stampin!

Let the weekend begin!

Another Friday here! The sun is gone and they are saying showers, possible snow flurries. WHAT! At least it's just flurries and not a blizzard warning! Though they are telling us that if we get much water from the showers, there could be major flooding in Minnesota once again. YIKES! Let's just hope for a bit of showers and then a slow melt. No one needs water problems!!

Today is a card I made a bunch of for Dan, my third son. I knew after chatting with him, that I had done a good job raising him. He called to ask if I would please do up some Thank You cards for him. He'd like about 5, as he has some people that have helped him out over the last few months during his hard times of trying to find a job. I am very pleased that he will remember to not only say a verbal Thank You, but also will bring a smile through snail mail to people! I of course told him that I would LOVE to do that. I would like to tell you that I know I had the biggest smile on my face during the whole time I was working on these cards!

The sun is shinning and the snow is melting! YIPEEEE!! Keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps up and the snow will be gone soon!

I'm back to crafting!

I figure with the change of seasons I best get going on items for my little space at Sweet Peas in town. Today's share is of a group of buckets from the Target dollar spot that I picked up last year at the end of the season for .25 a piece. I LOVE deals like that!!! So I pulled them out and started playing with them and getting them to say - - - SPRING!!! Do you think that's what they say?

Yep it's time to post again!

I fell behind on my blog posting, once again. When it turned so cold and we got more snow - I just went into hibernation stage! I grabbed a good book and sat in my big comfy chair by the fire and stayed warm. Muffy was right beside me.

Today I'm sharing one of the EASTER tags I came up with. I can't believe it's that close and so I figured I should get going on designing my tags. You know how I have fell in LOVE with doing tags for my nieces and nephews.

Good news is that we are suppose to hit the high 40's this weekend!

Let the weekend begin!

I am so ready for the weekend!! Just want to not have to go any place, stay in my pjs all day if I want and STAMP! Not sure that I will get to stamp a lot, but we will get things cleaned up! Seems like we still find our selves running down to the cities and we are so very tired of it!

Wednesday!

The sun is shinning up north today. So it's a good day! Always is when the sun is shinning! Taking things easy today. Putzing around and cleaning things up in my stampin area! What a mess I can make.

Today I'm sharing my gifts that will be going to my nieces and nephews this Easter. It's those little candy string necklaces. I found them in a kit at Walmart and then I just packaged them up and will put them in their baskets come Easter. I've decided that I will be ahead of the game this time!! Maybe I won't be stressed out when Easter arrives then!

Tuesday

Hi!
That's about all I can say about today. No sunshine and nothing much going on. I woke up and realized that I forgot all about my BIL birthday. YIKES!! I have a few days still to get the card in the mail and keep my fingers crossed it will arrive by Thursday.

So I'm sharing the card I created quickly this morning. Now even though it was created quickly, it wasn't made with any less love! He knows that we LOVE him!!

Lazy Sunday!

Yep it's a lazy day today. The sun is out, but it's still very chilly! We are sitting around the fire and enjoying staying warm inside today. DD decided that we should do more then just watch some movies. I agreed, we needed to be productive. Out of the closet jumped the games! So we have been sitting around the table and playing monopoly for the last four hours. Giggling, laughing, eating and drinking of course too.
