Almost Friday!

It's starting to not look so gloomy out there! The grass is starting to green up and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this really is a tell tale sign that SPRING is really possibly coming soon!!!!! YEAH!!!!

I'm shipping off today's share to a friend's daughter who just had a new baby. Inside this little decorated gift is the CUTEST notepad to put all the important baby info for a sitter.

1/2 way to Friday!!

I just got back from my physical therapy appointment and was told that yep, I can continue working on returning my strength to my right hand at home. If I need further help, just call. Sounds GREAT to me!!

Now I'm heading out the door to go for my Muffy walk and then I'm heading to my garden and working on getting the weeds outta it. OMW can you tell that it was not looked at for a few years, YIKES!! DD and myself want to make it into what it use to be, a WONDERFUL - BEAUTIFUL garden.

Today I'm sharing a card that I whipped up quick, as I had to get one out in the mail to a friend's daughter who just had an adorable little baby boy. I used a new stamp from Hero Arts, that I picked up on my road trip to Duluth with the girls on last Saturday. I really LOVE these little stamps, which allow for a quick, easy & cute card.

Keep MOVIN'!

I have a friend who walks every year in the MS walk to raise funds to help continue research going on finding a cure! I have supported her, as I am not able to walk very far at all any longer, due to my MS. I supported her for doing this, even before I was ever diagnosed MS. I have been thinking about putting together a team though and renting a scooter for the day. I have a number of family and friends who want to join me on this journey and help finding a cure of the yucky MS!

Keep MOVIN' is the statement the MS society has been using this year. So in making my card to send her my donation, I thought it appropriate to use their statement on it! After all, she is moving and walking towards a cure.

It's a new WEEK!!

Yep it is and the sun has been shinning all day, but it's not doing a very good job of warming things up. I'm afraid to put anything out in the garden yet, as I'm pretty sure I will be running out to cover things up every night before I hit the hay! I did go out and move the straw around to see if the strawberry plants have survived the cold winter. THEY DID!!!! We are very excited about this, as we have a large amount of strawberries to be picking this summer!

I also had company over the past weekend and had such a WONDERFUL time! Of course they were friends from the cities that came up to just hang out with me! We did some stamping, some playing and made a road trip to Duluth too!! We wanted to go and check out the stamping/scrapbooking store down there that I shop at from time to time.

Of course we ate waaaaaaay too much, didn't giggle enough, but did make some wonderful memories! We are ready to do this again!!

I'm sharing a card that I made a bunch of over the weekend. I LOVE sunflowers and figured that it was a good way to share my LOVE of them with my friends!

Tempting Thursday

Good Morning Friends!

The sun is out and shinning, then they say we will get some much needed rain. Not sure we here need that much needed rain. My DH found that out the hard way when he decided he would drive his truck to the wood shed, instead of hauling the wood by man power to the she. The second picture is one of what our backyard now looks like. We have these ruts all over it, OMW! Oh well he did it, so it's okay you know. If I would have done it, I do think it would have been a different story. I don't have to fix it though - - HE DOES!

The first picture is of some packages that I worked on for my craft booth at Sweet Peas. I was trying to think of some items that may sell well up north here. I figured that if people were out taking a nice stroll down the streets of Downtown Two Harbors, they may like a little snack???? So who doesn't like gorp??? It has a bit of something for everyone I personally think. So this is what I came up with to package them. Sunday is almost gone!

Hello! Where did the weekend go? I'm not sure!

Where did the week go???

OMW! I can not believe that the week is gone and I didn't even get a chance to post!

Today I'm sharing another birthday card that is going off to celebrate a HAPPY BE-LATED birthday wish! I always make sure to let my friends know that I just didn't want them to get only one day to celebrate and that is why my card is late. Good thing they love me and believe my goofy ideas!

The sun is out today again, a friend is coming by for a visit tomorrow and I really believe SPRING is here for good this time!

FUN Friday!

Yep it's a FUN day! Tyler, my DS (second in line) came up to visit just a bit earlier then the rest of the gang. We are going to head down to the lake and run a few errands. Hope you all ENJOY a FUN Friday!

Please notice that I used the negative part of my chipboard today on this card. The birthday card I posted on Tuesday has the positive part of the chipboard.

Wild Wednesday!

That's what I feel it's been like. A wild day - with all the running around and trying to get things finished up before company comes.

Here's another card to share that I did from that pack of stuff I found when I was purging my craft things. This one was sent off to a really special Sweetie already.

Tuesday - Tuesday

The sun is out and it's warming up. I'm not jumping up and down, as they are saying we could get some snow in the beginning of next week! WHAT!!!

In my purging of all the stampin/craft stuff I have I found some things that I had gotten when I had purchased a scrapbook kit from Lisa Bearnson on QVC. It was a FREE package of cards that came. I of course had long ago finished the scrapbook kit, but I'm just sure I couldn't throw out the FREE things that came my way! So I threw out the instructions and went to town using what was in the little clear plastic envie! I actually had a BLAST! I'm glad that I threw out the instructions and just played. I will share my creations for the next few days.

Thawing Thursday!

The snow is thawing and dripping like crazy from the garage roof! The streets are already clear and the driveway is all mud once again. I'm not listening to the weatherman any longer! He's saying chances of more snow this weekend. WHAT?????

Here's another tin that I putzed on the other day. It's one of those GREAT finds at Michael's. I grabbed a bunch of them, how can you not? They were only a dollar!

Another wet Wednesday!

Yep we are thawing out from the BIG snow of yesterday. OMW, I'm not sure where to put the snow any more! That's why I attached a picture of that. Then I worked on some tins yesterday too, so today's post is one of those.
