Thrilling Thursday!

I cannot believe that it's already Thursday!  Where or where has the week gone???

The weather has been WONDERFUL up north!  Today it's 41 and the snow is melting away!!!  Just keeping my mind on that it's only the middle of February and I live up north in Minnesota.  We have had snow in May ya know.  I just know that will not happen this year!!  Muffy has been enjoying the warmth also!  She loves those walks & just being able to lay on the side walk in the sunshine.  Yep spring will come!

I did not have all the items that Laurie used, but I guess that is why we say that we cased it!!  But you know I'm trying to stay on track with my friend and USE WHAT I HAVE!!  Well I guess I have to confess to someone, I did go to http://www.starlitstudio.net  and place a nice order of some items that I just NEEDED!  Now you noticed that I said I needed and not wanted!  LOL  Any how I hope you enjoy my card share for today!

Magical Monday!

Happy Valentine's Day my friends!

I'm back to start off my week with a share of one of the cards I cased from - http://stampinfunwithselene.blogspot.com/2011/02/saturday-sketch-challenge-190-shadowed.html  I really LOVE her ideas! CUTE - CUTE cards!! Selene is very talented!!

As you can see I cased it, but did not have exactly what Selene had to make her perfect card, but I think I made it work.  I was once again in need of a couple of sympathy cards.  They are always so hard for me and then I was thinking, hmmmm maybe this one is too bright for a sympathy card, but then I changed my mind as the Pastor at our church has always told us - a Funeral Service is actually a happy time.  Happy time to me is BRIGHT!  I guess it's all in how one looks at things. 

We did not hit the 40's this past weekend, but we did get in the low 30's and for up north I'm taking that!  It's still nice out there today, just a little windy.  Muffy & I were able to head out for one of our nice walks and it was GREAT to be back walking!

It's a Thrilling Thursday!

Yes it is!  We are above zero & the sun is shinning!!!  I'm hoping that weatherman is correct for the weekend forecast, as he is predicting that we might hit 40 degrees!!!  YIPPEE!!!  I'm really keeping my fingers crossed, as I am very ready to get out and start walking again!  I do miss it!  But trying to go out with such a below zero windshield just DID NOT work!  BRRRRRRRR!  DH said it was -23 when he got up this morning at 5 am.  Tooooo cold for me!

Here is little Miss Erica's Valentine Treats that I'm sending off to her today.  She will be so surprised when she gets a package in the mail!  I know it will bring a BIG smile to her and she will be EXCITED to see what she got!!

 

Can you tell I have been digging through my stash again?  Yep this is one of those tins that I had picked up at the Target Dollar Spot oh I don't even remember when!  LOL  I filled it with all kinds of VALENTINE TREATS!  Just a little sugar high for Mom & Dad.  LOL  

I have a dear friend who has me going on using what I have!  She is such a DEAR!!  DH is so HAPPY with her getting me inspired to USE what I HAVE here already.  Imagine that!  Using up what's already in my stampin' room!!

Monday - Monday

It is Monday and guess what?!  It's snowing once again!!  Guess I should be happy that we had a GORGEOUS weekend up north and it didn't snow then!  It's also very windy so not sure that I will take a Muffy walk today or not.  hmmmmm  Kinda funny, well maybe not funny, sad - the little birdies are having a hard time flying it's so windy out there.  I guess if I go out for a walk I best make sure that I bundle up like a snowman.  I always feel like the little guy from Christmas Story when I have to dress like that.  Just hope I don't fall down - cause I know I won't be able to get up.

Today's share is two of the cards that I will be using in my 2011 SAB workshops.  I have learned through the years that I DO NOT have to come up with new ideas for every workshop.  Why did I ever think that?  If customers come to more then one workshop, they usually don't mind making the same card.  One to keep for a pattern and one to share.  Always nice to have a card on hand.
