Happy May Day!

Yep it is May 1st & that means one thing - it's May Day and time to run around and place baskets of flowers on your neighbors & friend door.  Remember doing that when you were little???  I remember making baskets out of paper plates and filling them with construction paper flowers.  Running through the back yard to Grandma & Grandpa's house, putting them on the door knob, ringing the door bell and running back home as fast as I could.  Don't think I was playing ding - dong ditch today!  I just delivered a couple of baskets of flowers, with a kind little note.  Hoping it brought some cheer to those that received them!

So my share for today is a card I made with a stamp from Stampendous.  I bought the stamp when my FAVORITE local stamping store was going out of business.  Yep I know I'm still crying about that too!!  I knew I had to have it cause I would find the perfect time to use it!  It has actually turned out to be one of my FAV stamps for a quick & easy card, which is what I needed today.  A birthday card that is.

I'm still waiting for the sun to show up north, but it could be worse, we could have snow - YIKES!!  Actually we did receive snow a week ago. DH had to go out & plow that heavy - slushy stuff in April!!
