Starting off right on a Monday!

Hello!

Yep I did start off my week just perfectly this Monday! I saw the sun shinning and the temps were a bit chilly, but walking with Muffy always warms me up. Then I return home to have a cuppa Joe and read over the paper. How could this not be a perfect start?????

I have a dear sweet friend who will be celebrating her birthday this week. She inspires a lot of us with her exercise routine and the miles she rides on her bike! With all those miles I can't believe that she still has not made it to my house!! LOL Any how this is the card that she will find in her mailbox for her birthday!! Hope it's the BESTEST one yet Sweetie!

I used one of my OCL "Our Craft Lounge" stampsets; "Out for a Spin". It's a GREAT stampset, looooooooots of options with all the stamps in this set! Wild Wednesday!

Yep especially due to the fact that I over slept.

Late starts to my morning are never a good thing. Never seem to get everything done that I had planed, when that happens! But ya gotta make the best outta what ya got!








Isn't she just the CUTEST??? I saw one on someones blog a while ago and am sorry I don't remember who, so can't give credit where it is due. We have some friends who have just gotten a new puppy and I thought what a perfect card to wish him into their family! I of course will put his name on his tag, once they decide what to name him. That's how new he is. LOL

It's a Marvelous Monday!

Yep the sun is out, it's warming up again and I'm keeping my fingers crossed taht I will be sitting out on my front porch enjoying some coffee in the morning later in the week. The deer did come to visit already this morning. They are so funny, they were grazing and kept looking back, almost like they were looking for me to come and join them. I LOVE watching the wild life up north!







Here is my card for Easter this year. I know it's simple, but I have found that I have enjoyed going back to simple things in life and I guess that is also following me in my stamping life too. I will spend today working on some more scrapbook pages for Abby's scrapbook. I keep counting down the days and realize that June 5th will be here waaaaaaay too FAST!

Sunny Sunday!

Hello!

The sun is shinning and I just got home from teaching my Sunday School class of First Graders (they are soooo CUTE!) and church. I received a call from a good friend from the cities. Of course a fellow stamper - scrapper - crafter and she was up in Duluth for the weekend helping out with a stampin/scrappin fundraiser for cancer. Her Mom & her are in the falls (Gooseberry Falls) hiking and enjoying some outdoor sunshine & fresh air. She called and asked if I was interested in meeting up for lunch when they are done. OF COURSE!! I'm soooo EXCITED to see Piney, it's been waaaay too long! When I lived down in the cities I use to meet her and her two little ones (which aren't so little any longer) and another friend (HB) for lunch once a week. I think that is one of the things I miss the most about having moved! So I am posting quick and then off to visit!!






Can you believe we only have two weeks until Easter? So this is one of my Easter shares with you today. It's a little cello bag and I have filled them with Jelly Bellys and then tied them off with some ribbon and a cute little Easter Bunny tag. Fantastic Friday!

It is even it's we have flurries outside my window. That is part of living in Minnesota!! A tease and then a return of some winter. Oh well that just means it's time to stay inside and STAMP!!

Today I'm sharing with you how I packaged up my cute little bunnies from yesterday. They have been a BIG seller at Sweet Peas and I will be working on more of them for sure this weekend!!

It's still GORGEOUS!!

Yep and I was able to sit out on the front porch and enjoy a cuppa java again this morning! Even had a couple of deer grazing right out in the front yard. How can they possibly do so much damage?

Now that St. Patty's day is over I'm moving right along to my next Holiday project to share. Yep EASTER will be here before we know it.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Just to let you know, I'm not going to be dying anything green today! Though I am wearing some green, as I'm 1/4 Irish and so I always feel the need to celebrate a bit on St. Patty's Day!!

The weather has been just GORGEOUS still! I just keep waiting for the weather man to inform us that we are going to be dumped on with a foot of snow. That is okay though, as I know that it will not stay around, we are at the end of winter!!!!

I've been saving this card to share with you today!





The stamps are those little ones that you can pick up by the register of your local scrapbook store. I think they are like a buck. These two just went well together and spruced up things for St. Patty's Day.

Wild Wednesday

Yep it is a wild day again! Not sure why, but maybe it's because Wednesday is 1/2 way to the weekend!

I'm still working on cleaning and I am making headway this time!! I will share pictures once I get it finished.



It's kinda gloomy out there today. It's still warm out there though and that means more of the snow will be melting!!! My picture today is of how spring is really coming - the water in the creek is running! That is always a sure sign to me that spring will be here soon!

Terrific Tuesday!

The SUN is out again!! The temps are good and I'm off in a bit for a "Muffy" walk!!

On my plate for today is tackling the never ending chore of trying to ORGANIZE my stampin' room! Seems I get 1/2 way there and then get side tracked. One of my biggest problems being so easily side tracked. ERRRRRRR! Oh well that's just me and I want to get to my share for today!!

I've been playing with my Easter stamps and making FUN projects for my little spot at Sweet Peas. I got motivated last week after enjoying the "Going Green" Blog tour. So today I wanted to share with you one of my recycled projects. Yep it is amazing what we can do with all that plastic packaging that we seem to get. So here is one that I had saved and I'm sorry, but I don't even remember what came in it. It is the perfect package to hold some chocolate Easter candies though! I have become a BIG fan of this Chocolate Bunny stamp!!

Watch and you will see more of him to appear! LOL

Magical Monday!!

Happy Monday!

I hope that you all ENJOYED a wonderful - FAB weekend! I do have to say that it was sooooo GORGEOUS out up north, that I didn't spend much time inside stampin. I had to get out and soak up some of those rays!! Enjoyed a few long leisurely walks with Muffy. She is enjoying this weather, as much as I am! Hey SUN = GOOD!!

More of my DOLLAR stamps from the Michael's craft store. I have found some really fun & funky ones there the last view visits!! So I put this little Easter chickie to work - colored her in using my copic markers and punched her out. Attached her to some cardstock and now she's doing a nice job dressing up my package of Easter Treats!!

Fab Friday!

Yep I always think of Fridays as being FAB - hey it's really the first day of the weekend and we all know what weekends mean! FUN - FUN - FUN!!!

I'm really looking forward to this weekend, as a couple of the kids will be coming up north and the weather is suppose to be just BEAUTIFUL!! Can we say PICTURES!! I'm hoping that they will all show their beautiful smiles to Mom and not try to hide! Well we will be missing Miss Abby, as this is her weekend to work. She said it would figure that they would pick her work weekend to show up. Hmmmm - maybe they are trying to tell you something Abby. LOL

Thursday and the SUN is still here!

Happy Thursday All!

I really hope where ever you are, you are also ENJOYING the sunshine! It just really helps pick up a person's spirit, don't ya think?

We got news of another little one we need to welcome! Amazing how when your kids start getting to that age - - - their friends all start having babies. I guess I should just be happy it's not mine! LOL I'm waaaaaaaay too young to be a Granny!! So that's where the idea for today's share came from. I used my nestabilities (I think they are one of my FAV tools!!) to cut out my circles and then took one of my oval punches to make the opening. Then I just went to town and decorated it. Hope the lovely young couple enjoy the card as much as they are ENJOYING that new little one!







So go and ENJOY some SUNSHINE - there is tonight for STAMPING!!!

OMW it's been a week!

I'm not sure where all the time goes, but it just goes!

The weather has just been GORGEOUS up north! The sun is shinning and it just keeps getting warmer and warmer. The snow is melting and I don't even mind the mess it is making! Reason being, that I know that means pretty soon it will be all GONE! Can you tell that I am really getting Spring fever bad????







On today's card I am digging out some of my old FAVORITES to play with. Yep - my watercolor crayons!!
